Congestion and breakout causes:
- Poor hygiene
- Dirty pillow cases
- Not exfoliating regularly enough (aim to scrub the skin 2-3xweekly)
- Genes passed on
- Excessive oil flow
- Poor diet – lacking nutrients, vitamins and fatty acids
- Stress – which can decrease vitamin B levels within the body, causing redness and inflammation
All Fresh Face Skin overnight treatment fighters contain only naturally sourced, vegan-friendly ingredients derived from fruits and plants and are cruelty free (approved by PETA; an Australian organisation who are dedicated to establishing and protecting the rights of all animals). Our products contain natural fragrance and a natural preservative to maintain the ingredients and their strength, allowing them to work to their best ability within your skin.
I have handpicked each ingredient within our Overnight Treatments, from years of experience within the beauty industry. These natural ingredients will provide your skin with the nurturing nourishment it needs to fight back and conquer those angry breakouts and shiny- face feels.
Use: Apply 1-2 pumps all over, to a clean skin each night.
Note: Fresh Face Skins Overnight Treatments can be applied to the skin both morning and night, however we strongly advise using a sunscreen on top of the treatment application in the morning. Multiple treatments can also be used in one application, to assist with more than 1 skin concern i.e.; an oily t-zone and dry cheeks can use the Overnight healer on oily t-zone area and Overnight Soother on dry cheeks.
Tip: If you don’t suffer from oily skin, and only have occasional breakouts, the Overnight Healer can be used as a ‘spot treatment’; applied to the pimples only, before applying another Overnight Treatment or moisturiser.
Expected duration: 2-3 months (when used as recommended)
L22: A blend of natural oils derived from joboba, macadamia and olive, designed to mimic the skins surface lipid profile to that of a 22-year-old. Our lipid barrier is responsible for the overall recovery and maintenance of our skins health. Think of it as an invisible wall on the surface of our skin, that protects our skin from water loss, environmental damage (such as pollution, sun, wind), and bacteria. As we age, our skins natural oil flow slows down; leading to a dryer skin and deterioration of our skins lipid barrier function. Reviving your skins barrier back to a healthy 22-year-old barrier function, will increase moisture and hydration within the skin – plumping and smoothing fine lines, reduce redness and sensitivity and increase skin elasticity and firmness.
Glycolic acid: This is a natural fruit acid that comes from cane sugar. It has natural antibacterial properties to remove bacteria sitting on your face, it controls the oil flow within the skin as well as lightening stubborn discolouration that can be left on the skin once pimples have started to heal. This miracle fruit acid also gently exfoliates the surface of your skin, while also penetrating below the surface, speeding up the healing time within your skin; getting those lumps and bumps under the surface up and out of your skin for good.
Trehalose: This is a natural sugar extract that is derived from dried mushrooms. This clever natural extract adds and retains that much needed moisture/water within the skin, keeping your skin plump and hydrated and able to start the healing process it needs to fight back.
Vitamin B5: This vitamin is known for its soothing, hydrating and healing ability within the skin. It improves and strengthens your skins natural barrier function, reducing water loss as well as increasing hydration levels, bringing your skin back to good health. This vitamin helps damaged skin heal and regenerate; clearing those stubborn breakouts that don’t seem to budge!
Calendula flower extract: This is a plant extract that comes from the candela flower! As well as being naturally antibacterial, this amazing plant extract has a calming effect on the skin; reducing inflammation and redness – giving your skin the chance to calm, clear and heal.
Joboba oil: I know – your thinking ‘OH NO, NOT OIL!’ Trust me – this oil is OK for acne prone and oily skins! Jojoba is a golden liquid wax (often called jojoba oil) that is made from the jojoba bean and naturally contains a balance of vitamins A, D and E which are known as skin healing vitamins. This baby resembles our own skins natural oil makeup, allowing it to absorb deep within the skin, adding hydration to our skins deeper layers, while also having the ability to clear bacteria within the skin – helping clear and prevent future breakouts. This natural oil has a deep cleansing action which helps clear blocked pores, pushing out puss and dirt from within the pore, while removing dead skin cells on the surface and evening out any excessive oil within the skin. Remember – we never want to strip our natural oils within our skin, just control any excessive, heavy oil, to give our skin the chance to properly begin to heal without oil suffocation.
Fragrance: Natural tea tree and citric acid oil.
